Pelikan M405 Fountain Pens
In 1929, Pelikan became the first company to introduce the piston mechanism in pens. Although this fountain pen, which has many different variations to date, has been developed in design and technical details over time, the basic mechanism has remained the same. In 1950, the 400 model was introduced. It had green striped body, and it has become a worldwide symbol of the Pelikan brand. In the 80s, 400 pens developed as the Souverän series, and began to be called as Stresemann. A true classic, these pens are meticulously crafted from high-quality resins. M400 has been loved by users with its exemplary craftsmanship, elegant design, high-capacity piston filling mechanism and luxuriously smooth tips. The M400 is the smallest and lightest member of this family. M405 pens have strikingly striped bodies. Between the lines are thin, transparent windows that let you see how much ink is left in the pen. Complementing the body design, the cap and grip are equipped with a rhodium-plated trim and a rhodium-plated 14-carat gold nib.
