 South Korean ink maker Wearingeul stands out as a company that approaches works of art with a fresh and modern perspective, interpreting, expressing, and reimagining them. Works of art that are visually ambiguous and abstract, particularly in literature and music, form the primary source of inspiration for Wearingeul inks. 
 Wearingeul does not merely imitate the original work of art; it also integrates its own perspective into the authenticity of the work through a modern design sensibility. Using synesthetic approaches, Wearingeul transforms invisible works of art into the art of design that people can see, feel, and even smell. Wearingeul has always challenged the ambiguity and vagueness of works of art. A Watery Star was inspired by the literature of Jeong Ji-yong. Jeong Ji-yong (often written as Cheong Chi-yong in literary contexts) was a Korean poet and translator of English poetry who, according to Korean poetry scholar Brother Anthony, "opened a new horizon of poetry through sharp expression, measured emotion, and sensitive visual imagery." 
 Note: Due to the amount of shimmering particles in the ink, you may experience clogging in some of your fountain pens. We recommend shaking the ink thoroughly before filling and gently rotating the pen in your hand regularly while writing to maintain the shimmer effect.
